Red backed Shrike


A fleeting glimpse..A red backed Shrike..without Paul copners (my father) knowledge of the Welsh countryside i would have no chance of finding something as rare as this. Lots of dragon flies about,good food for this migrant. Llyn lech owain reserve

Llangenith locals




The sanddunes at Llangenith buzz with activity , lots of birds and animals are out feeding there young dispite hundreds of beach goers.
Whitetroats sing on every bush , Stonechats and Meadow pipits feed young, rabbits are numerous

Black Guillemots of Rosslare


Several pairs of Black Guillemot nest in the old drainage pipes in the harbour wall at Rosslare , always worth a look when your waiting for a ship to Wales

Wales visit

In Wales at the moment for a week surfing and birding.
Good waves, and good birding, so far....
