Fathers Day Flowers on the Burren

After work , the sun was scorching so my Little ones and myself took a Fathers day walk through the trails near Mullagmore on the Burren
We got to see Goats , Bee Orchids , Fly Orchids and many more

The wildflower pasture

Just above the bridge below the castle at Lahinch marsh is a thick pasture of wildflowers.

I came across a small patch of Bee Orchids close to Lahinch marsh.

A species I always wanted to see and was hoping to find on the Burren this year.

It goes to show that even a local walk in the rain can throw up something to brighten the day.
