Iceland Gulls - Limerick

A few Iceland Gulls were milling around O`Callahan Strand Limerick City

The garden Goldfinch

Any of us that put out regular bird feed would have Goldfinches in their gardens.

The finch that brings colour to the table and colour to the blog

 Ive had a regular flock over the course of the winter visiting the garden.

The west swell

Just into february when a Low pressure system starts to spin  off the Greenland coast.
A west swell is produced that will last for days (maybe a week).
The winds on the fringes of this system start South on a friday, South East by monday and East by friday.
The swell is still here and tomorrow is another day.
