Little Grebe

The Little Grebe is a common bird in County Clare, found on most Loughs and ponds, sometimes in their 100s.

This little fella was at the small pond near Drumcliffe cemetery,

Ennis Riverside

Plenty of birds on show along the banks of the River Fergus in Ennis town ,The 5 Canada Geese have made it home ,a Kingfisher was around the larger Willows and trees, Feral Pidgeons courting,loads of hungry Black-headed Gulls,a Song Thrush was on the path with a Little Grebe close to the Post Office and much more to see.
Now back to the shopping I came to do.

On a Pond

On a pond that I visit when driving bye were juvenile Tufted Ducks , a few Coots and Little Grebes were around the edges of the pond  and a small flock of Redpoll were feeding on seed in the scrub nearby. A winter feeling
