The !st Common Rosefinch I picked up in Lampėdžio-Nemuno pralaida was a singing female to my surprise but along the track a stand out male in full Rose colours was out singing away. "Pleased to meet you"...... nice song and a cracking species to have caught up with

Wood & Icterine Warblers - Kaunas -Lampėdžio
Lithuania is a forest, even the city and outskirts are woodlands.
Within these woodlands Wood Warblers are numerous, easy to see once you follow their song. tricky to photo within the shade of the woods.
Also within the woods Icterine Warblers are heard with there song that sounds like a squeeky dog toy, but can be quite high up, making them difficult to observe through the branches
