Eider and the Long tailed Duck

I was cruising the Clare coast looking for birds , I knew of an Eider that has been seen in Kilkee so I parked up and checked the bay.
The Eider was only a few metres off the beach ,as I walked down to get some photos  a Long tailed Duck joined the Eider whom at 1st wasnt to impressed and hunted the LtD which gave me some flight shots, but it all soon calmed down

Red eyed Vireo - Kilbaha

This Red eyed Vireo showed up in Kilbaha last weekend, I was well happy to catch up with REV last weekend but had left my camera memory card at home and missed some photo opportunities.
I had to wait till today to get my pics.
It took a few hours for the bird to come out and be found, but seemed to become more active as the day went on, showing in a few gardens.
In the gardens there was not much else about,2 Goldcrest,1 Chiffchaff, Sparrowhawks were hunting the village, a Buzzard came low overhead, during the afternoon we found a Snow Bunting near west bank on the headland.

Yellow browed Warbler at Kilbaha

There were not many birds of note on Loop Head.
I walked the Fodry, WestBank and Lighthouse.
The Garden were quiet , This Yellow browed Warbler was elusive hanging out with a Chiffer and Blue Tits in the garden up from Keatings Pub

Hen Harrier at Clahane

It was the prelude of storm Lorenzo , I headed to the coast to see what was happening.
While watching the Gulls and Pipits at Clahane , they suddenly all went up...
I looked around and Hen Harrier came low over the seaweed was quickly picked up by the Rooks and bullied out , it suddenly came around the houses and across the flooded field where it went down into the Tussock.
I hung out , after 10 mins she re-appeared , I followed her along the coastline as she stayed ahead hunting the road and shoreline then the Rooks came again.
