November morning in Kilbaha

A early morning at Loop Head Lighthouse grounds was quiet with only a few Redwing and Song Thrush around, a Great northern Diver flew over the Headland

I quickly returned back to the gardens where earlier I saw a Yellow browed Warbler, Goldcrest and Great Tit opposite Keatings on my drive through, which  after a short while I relocated the same three birds in the trees behind The Rural Resettlement, but they remained within the treetops and were elusive.
I stayed around the gardens for a few hours and more numbers Finches ,Robins, Tits and Thrushes were coming through, all on the move

Siskins from the window

I awoke to find 4 Siskins on the bird feeders and for a brief moment a Redpoll
These birds are at the end of their winter in higher ground and food is becoming scarce so they roam seeking out food ending up with other finch flocks on garden feeders

Westfield Marsh

While in Limerick I took a quick walk around Westfield Marsh.
A small group of Tufted Duck were showing of the view decking , Moorhens and Coots were in the reed beds along the shorelines. 3 Pochard were resting out in the middle of the pond.
25 Siskins were busy in the Alders near the road.
