Ring billed Gull on the slipway



A Ring billed Gull was among the Gulls at Nimmos pier in Galway , but no white winged gulls were here today, maybe we need a cold snap or a NW storm for them to come into harbour for winter.

Long distance travelers
These gulls have come to Ireland with the NW gales that have blown across the North Atlantic. Iceland Gull, Kumliens Iceland Gull and Ring billed Gull all hold up to the storms past.
 Nimmos pier offers food and shelter for opportunistic gulls.

Dont leave Nimmos without it....The Forsters Tern can be found on the streatch of beach roosting with gulls and Sandwitch terns
