The first swell of winter

Winter has started with a ground swell setting our reefs alight with joy ,fun.
Some people scraped up the remains of energy for a 2nd session,
They scored great waves twice

The bridge to Doorus & Auganist island is a haven for the Little Egret , easy to see here, on this evening i counted 29 , 10 years ago they would of been a rareity

As the passage migrants fly past south and the waders return to there feeding grounds, quilty beach can host a good variety of birds , Sabines gull, Dunlin , turnstone and many more
